Wow this game is a nightmare to uninstall. I couldn't find uninstall, so I deleted anything in the black isle folder. So on remove programs, BG2/ToB isn't listed. On computer search, black isle isn't there, baldur, etc isn't either. So when I put the disk in to re-install, it says 'Play' but not 'Install'. I don't know why. There's nothing to delete.

So I right click on the D drive and explore the disk. I did the Install option, and went through all the disks. Then I try to play it, and it says it's not on the computer. Very frustrating. I just want to 'officially' remove it. Then try again.

The problem probably is that the Windows Registry still contains entries for BG2. You can see how to manually uninstall the program here.

Warning: Be very careful with Regedit! Only delete the keys specified, or you could mess up Windows...

Vista sucks, and Bill Gates blows dog....

[IMG] What's your OS? If it's Vista, the problem may be "compatability files."
