    BaldurDash,

One tip - the content on these boards has evolved to the point where spoilers are everywhere. Not to say this is a bad thing, but for the sake of a more enjoyable game I would try playing through without seeking too much help. There are so many cool areas and items throughout the game that the possibilities for your story are numerous.

I just found it more fun to discover things on my own.

[IMG] Yeah... I guess. I felt better about beating BG2 than I did BG1, coz in BG1 I knew the whole story and lotsa the quests before I even started playing, while in BG2 I only asked a coupla questions when I got jammed.

[IMG] Diablo and Diablo2 are fine if you are into mindless point and click chop up the bad guys games. Myself I really like the character development aspect of BG2.

Of course mindlessly slaying things is fun. But if you want to mindessly kill things, go play Unreal Tournament. Or Half Life. Much more fun than D2 as far as mindlessly killing goes (and yeah, I know they're completely different games that shouldn't be compared, but so what?)

    [IMG] You wanted Advice!

    1. Configure Auto Stop:
    - Stop when detecting traps
    - Stop when sighting enemy

    2. Saving:
    - Make saves that you do not overwrite, so you can go back if you missed something.
    - Quick save often in case you die.

    3. Shortcuts:
Experiment with them to see what you like. Personally I like Y and TAB.
