    What was supposed to be a quick game of Columns ended up into an unfinished masterpiece currently clocking at 8212 blocks. Hmm... does the counter reset after I pass the 9999 mark, I wonder? It's 4-digits, after all...

    One of the speakers in my car died today. I didn't even have the volume up high either. :cry: Sounds like the woofer has ripped free of the voice coils. Cheap OEM speakers. :nono:

    So now the dilemma is: do I just replace the front two speakers with similar wattage ones (from Infinity), or do I get an entirely new system with a 10" sub and amps to boot?

    [​IMG] I'm always one for upgrading music systems when affordable :D

    Had an odd trip to the doctors. Got ambushed from behind a tree by someone handing out invites to a baptism event. Seriously? Behind a tree? How sad is it you have to wait behind a tree?!

    On the way back home a tallish, black chap walked past me, stopped, looked at me, in a booming voice said "Good morning" then walked off. Then I was accosted by two mothers with babies and a grandma simultaneously trying to invite me to the same baptism as before. THEN there's a large bump in the pavement where cables for the development work are being kept under, I don't like going over it as it makes me feel like I'm about to fall out of my chair. A construction worker was heading towards me as I went over it and he started laughing: He was impressed, he'd had to help six other people in wheelchairs over it in that day alone, first one who had done it solo. You guys helped me get an awesome chair :)

    Battery is holding well on it today, I might be able to go out later as well, not sure where, but stops me being trapped in this crappy room.

    Ooh... Gargoyles. I've only seen the show with a German voice over as a kid, though. (...and with my language skills, I'm using seen as a 100% information gathering method.)

    World Cup will likely do wonders for my computer time. :D Exams and the potential increase in ice cream gathering forays, otoh...

    I say there should be a rewards program for reaching certain "post" levels. Let's start with 2,000. Maybe a free SPS account as the reward? (Shameless, I know...):D

    Just reached 9999 blocks. Does absolutely NOTHING. I'm guessing the game assumed I wouldn't be THAT good.

    Absolutely not. This is entirely legit. This run took 4+ hours to complete and included a lot of caffeine and fog... the fog to chill out, the caffeine to focus. Both were required to pull this off. The only reason I played on an emulator was to be able to take screenshots. No GameGenie, no Action Replay, no GameShark, nothing. I did use save states, but it was only to resume the game where I left off -- as it was played in two parts. And at 8212 blocks, the gems drops faster than one can think... I honestly thought a couple of times I wouldn't make it to 9999, and yet I did.

    Cheating would have killed the challenge and the fun out of trying to reach the top.
