What usually happens is that I run the .exe the first time and get the message about having to run it again but when I re-run it, I get the same message. I try again a few times and get the same results, even when un-installing the one or two other mods I might have manage to install. I'll reinstall the previous mods and still get the same problems with the next mod in line. Then, after a few more failed attempts, the mod will install fine with no problems. What could be causing this glitch and how can I fix it?

    Thanks in advance.

I think I've found that re-installing an earlier mod helps fix the problem. However, I still don't know what causes the problem in the first place. I've never had this issue before.

Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question, but somebody has to ask it. ;)

Are you sure you're using the latest version of WEIDU with ALL of the mods you're trying to install?

You don't need to have any version of Weidu to install mods. Weidu is a tool for developing mods, not installing them.

Anyway, as to the question, some mods require extracting to the BG2 directory before installing. This might be your problem.

I always place the mods in the correct directory before attempting to install them.

If you get an error when installing a new mod, re-run a previously installed mod's exe file, it will update the new mod's Weidu file. Then exit the already intalled mod's exe window. (choose 'quit' if applicable) Now the new mod's exe should work without problems. Happens to me quite a lot.
