I recently bought a new computer (with Windows 7), but my current install of BGTutu and fully modded SoA and ToB took ages to create. So now I'm wondering if I can just install the games normally and then copy the file folders from my old computer to my new one. Will this work? Also, will my save games work?

If you had Vista, copying the entire folder will work but it won't transfer your saves. You'll have to open the "compatibility files" inside your folders and copy your files from there (in case you installed the game on your system drive or you main drive if you have more than one).

My old computer is running Windows XP. Are those compatibility files something from Vista?

Yes, they are. You should be fine with XP.

Just make sure you copy your saves just in case something goes wrong (I'd also copy the weidu log so in the worst case scenario you could reinstall all your mods in the right order and still use your saves).
