That reminded me of a funny incident with Americans who didn't get it and couldn't make up their minds and decide how they should react. Hilarious.

It's like asking an American for a rubber when what you want is actually an eraser (or not).

Or like the French girl asking for some fire instead of a light...

That being said the most embarassing mistake I've ever witnessed was for a French guy to order a coke only to pronounce it like a certain fowl, a rooster or a male chicken.

This stuff never gets old. :shake:

I'm not sure why the Evony people haven't just changed it into a porn game - that must be what the people clicking on their ads want.

Heh...I know the ads you're talking about, but all I have to do is login on the main SP page and *POOF* they're gone.

BTW, it's rather annoying having to login twice for this site everytime I run CCleaner. :bad:

Then don't run it as often :p You only need to do it every few months anyway, right?

It's a tough time in his life right now, and he needs all the help he can get...

And by 'help' I mean a LOT of porn.

I broke my personal record for receiving and unpacking an order... and then the fog came along.

Well...maybe if you didn't smoke so much of the afore mentioned "order" you would be able to see just fine. :p

In other news, I thought it was an unspoken rule that, when a customer drops $1500 at your online shop, you get that S**T shipped A.S.A.P....especially when they're paying $125 just for shipping!!! They've had over 7 regular business days to ship it, but it hasn't even been processed! :grr:

HandA-Accessories.com is now on my S**T-List. :nono:

Hey Kit, I'm waiting for my Intel X-25M since early November, perpetually being promised that it will 'arrive in about to weeks'. Worse, I paid in advance ...

And I am still sick and terminally bored. My sinuses are now solidly clogged with goo. My throat as well. I can't concentrate on anything, not even playing computer games. I am in and out of bed all the time. I can't sleep.

Hmm, sounds like a great mood to write another complaint to my online shop ...

Weird. It's like -20°c outside and I have yet to see anyone sick.

ION, I don't get political cartoons. Just so... unimaginative.
Every single one of them is like "Rice Krispies dudes as world leaders and the cereal bowl as middle east." And then someone throws money at it and suddenly it's art or something.

I was talking about work... the day where all the products are delivered, and it's my job to unpack and fill up the entire store. The fog stated manifesting itself shortly after I arrived home, like it always does. Strange coincidence. Really.

ION, yet another column up. This time, unlike Cult Fiction there is NO foul language (...almost), but I'll be discussing phones, and network standards too. I'm taking a look at an old Japanese standard... and if the current development is any indication, the same standard could very well be a wildcard in the industry somewhere down the line.

Over $4000 dollars of damage to my truck. Love it. Luckily I have insurance, but there is still a $1000 dollar deductible. Great way to start the day.

I just finished BG 1 and I was all happy to finally import my character in BG II.... only to find out that all my spell slots are like cut in half. Seriously, I think I had 7 or 8 1rst level spell slots and I now have 4 (I think I had a ring that boost speel slots, but still).. And I can't have all the spells I had previously learned. So my mage is weaker in a harder game... :skeptic:

The Ring of Wizardry is fairly great. It's a shame you can't import all of your items to BG2.

I got the issue resolved. They claim that they sent me an email stating the problem...and hotmail *must* have flagged it as spam...however, the confirmation email came though, the auto-response email I got when I emailed them came though, and their reply to my messages came though....odd that hotmail would only choose to flag that one message as junk. :skeptic:

I read that as, "Yeah, we know we screwed up, but we're blaming something else so we don't look bad..."

I'm still pissed off though. This was the only week that the temperature outside was going to be tolerable enough to work on my car. By the time my new performance suspension, front lip, fog lights, auto-dimming RV mirror, and service manual arrive, it will be snowing and butt-cold. :bang:
