    The new battle report for Starcraft 2 has been uploaded.

    For those who havn't seen it yet, Blizzard has been testing/balancing some of the units for highly-anticipated SC2. Basically two of the game's professional players go head-to-head using (pretty much) the beta version of the game.

    What do people think about the game/units so far??

    Personally I think the Hunter-Seeker drones are a little over-powered at the moment.. Seems they need to balance them a little. I really liked the brush feature though! It should create some interesting battle situations when the game finally comes out!

    [IMG] Too bad the battle reports take forever to load on their own site. But they are also up on Youtube.

    That being said, I am definitely getting this game!

    in battle report 3, there was a protoss unit i can't remember the name of, but i t could set up a non penetrable forcefield, like stasis in the old game, only the forcefield does not require units, only fills one square and has a 10 second cool down. this in my book appears to be insanely overpowered as it is shown in battle report 3

    Umm, do you mean the 'Mothership'??? It creates a forcefield where projectiles get slowed to snail pace. Basically helps during a base assault. Don't worry though, I'm sure the other 2 races will have some insane units to balance it.

    No, it wasn't a mothership. It was an early tech unit called a nullifier or disruptor that can be pumped out as early as a zealot. It was pretty unbalanced, the unit just ran into a zerg base and sealed itself and drones in using the crystals to block the units and was free to wreak havoc.

    i think it was nullifier yea, and the reason for the unbalance thing is exactly what you say, Faye, it seem to be as early as i dragoon in SC:BW

    like pylon->gateway->other building-> nullifier

    it also provides great defense against rushes, if you have the micro for it and a few of them, you could just cast this on your ramp until you get zeals..
