I hate the limitaions of the 30 point process during character creation. Does anyone know of any kind of mod that would incorporate a rolling system for your ability scores during character creation? Is there any other way besides a cheat to make this more like D&D? While I'm at it is there a mod for adding more feats and skills? Thank you ahead of time for taking the time to respond to this thread. :D

i don't think there's a mod that lets you roll your own stats, but you can easily do it yourself and then use the cheats to change the stats to match.

    That's what I do.

While I'm creating the new PC, I tab out and use a dice rolling app (you could use real dice if you have them) and when I have my stats, I tab back, and set what I can using the point buy system. Then, if I need to add (or remove) some points, I do it in game using the cheats.

AFAIK, there's no way to add feats or skills directly to a PC in NWN, but I think it's possible to add feats and skill bonuses to items. If you use a character creator mod, like the PGC3 (I think that's what it's called), some of them have "forges" that let you add feats and bonuses to items.

    Thanks!

Thanks Diagnull for your reply. I guess I'll just have to play the game as is. I have always searched for a good D&D game that's as close to the table top game as possible and so far the closest I've seen is "The Temple of Elemental Evil" at least as far as D&D 3.5 goes. Has anyone seen anything else I mean besides D&D online?
