Already posted this to the official forum but figured it's worth asking around here also.
I had a bit of mishap on my latest attempt at starting the OC. For some reason the cutscene were the githyanki mage fries Aimee didn't trigger. I decided to try avoid the both mages and got Aime to help defend the village.
She disapperared for duration of the quest to get the shard with Bevil, just an "absent" icon in her place. Tarmas was also suspiciously absent.
As soon as I left West Harbor there was Aime in my party, she is almost 5k xp down but otherwise in good health. A bit quiet compared to Neeshka and Khelgar. I got up to the bandit camp when the game started crashing a lot... don't know if it's related.
Just wondering if anybody has had similar experiences? This is the first time I started the OC since installing the newest patch.

You are not suppose to have any NPC when you leave West Harbor; Amie is suppose to die. The game is crashing because you have brought alone a NPC that is not scripted past the Assult on West Habor.

Actually the crashing seems to be relted to me running out of hard drive space. I'm more intreseted on seeing how everything goes with elanee and if I can get Aime to work with the Inn and group system.

Yes, afaik Aimee is supposed to die... let us know how things work with her. This is quite interesting.

    It should work fine

Amie should work just like an additional PC at this point. She won't have any dialogues, but she shouldn't get in the way either. I have brought back and joined dead characters via the normal cheat options, and they don't break the game. I would be more concerned that if there was a problem with the script that was supposed to kill Amie, there may also be other problems with your install.

If you bring back Amie with cheats is she a completly normal cohort? I'm currently in Neverwinter and I can't remove her from my party when I leave the in.

If you summon the DM (RunScript gr_dm), you can add and remove party members through him, regardless of who is available in map transitions. However, I just checked it out and Amie is not on the list of companions you can add and remove. The same is true with the roster edit script (RunScript kr_roster_edit). There might be a script in debug mode that will remove Amie from your party, but I don't know what it would be.

Amie lived in one of my games as the cutscene never triggered. She stayed by my side during the defense of West Harbor and on my trip to the swamp but then died during the shard retrieval quest and would not regain consciousness. It caused some kind of problem IIRC, maybe I couldn't leave the map to return to West Harbor?

Where are you in the game and do you still have Amie in your party? Also, what update are you running when this bug occurred?
