    [IMG] Yes, I'm bored. :p

So, when you get in a coin toss, what do you call for? (assuming the other person is tossing the coin)

    Vote away. :)

Tails here, always. The tails side of coins is generally more fun, symbols wise, for me.

EDIT: Hmm.. this is my first BoM poll ever. Heh.

Heads. Because whenever I flip a coin and it starts on tails, it seems to always to be heads when it lands :).

I switch. Usually whichever is not facing upwards at the moment.

The American quarter has a slightly heavier heads size, so I go tails, lol.

D-fly: I wanted to put a "The coin will roll under a bed/wardrobe/cupboard/pond and the result will never be known" choice in the poll, since it probably has a higher occurrence rate then edge, but I've changed my mind. :p
Edge is a possibility, unless you go for a repeated flip or a foot stomp...

    ChickenIsGood: Nice answer. :)
Is the bias the result of the relief carving on the quarters (all coins have this inherent bias to one side which slightly tilts the odds) or are the quarters out of alignment for some other reason? Just curious.

You really have nothing to do, do you.

Mind you, I can't comment as I just voted!

Just. Had. To: I'm not much of a cointosser really, but I'll take tails anytime.

I use the same rhyme as Dal except I call heads just to be difficult :p Also, one day I'm going to run into that double headed coin, then we'll see who's laughing.

It doesn't really matter to me really, so I choose fluctuating. For some reason reading "fluctuating" reminded me of "Flux capacitor"

I flipped a coin to answer. No, actually I fluctuate. I didn't know that about the American quarter. The things you learn on BoM.

The heads side is only minutely heavier... if you flip a coin 1000 times, it will come out with heads at 501 and tails 499 or something ridiculous like that.

Who knows what that one coin flip can decide though!

Who gets the ball first in overtime? Who gets the hot girl or the... friend? Giant douche or a turd sandwich?!

I'm not willing to take that chance :p

    Seems to be always Heads.

Normally I just pick the one the other guy didn't pick, though...

I've heard that the odds slightly favor heads in some coins, so I go for heads.

I'll save my blue comments for another forum ;)

I am a fieldhockey referee so I flip coins. I used the coin in the Oblivion special edition a while.
