American Gangster. Not a bad movie, just not really my thing.

The remake of "Assault on Precinct 13", not a bad movie but didn't stand up to the original. However it was a very different movie than the original, really felt as though it should have just been given a different name and said it was inspired by Assault.

Swamp Devil, a terrible, terrible "horror" movie about (surprisingly enough) a swamp monster killing people. It's got alright acting, bad writing, really bad CG effects and an incredibly predictable story (when a character says, against all proof up to then, that there is no monster, you know he's next). It's not bad enough to be memorable but we did have a good chuckle.

Tak, hells yeah! I love that movie. It's not one of my top faves, but one of the few movies I can see over and over again. Great stuff to put on when you're drunk and need something to sleep to haha.

Since I've heard you praise it several times, I was able to find "The Last Supper" and I liked it. I loved the soundtrack as well. So 90's rock.

Saw Gangs of New York. Violent for sure, but not my thing.

Blood Diamond. Not a feel good movie but sometimes that is excellent o watch movies like these. A few things made me think of Lord of War without the glamour but it's rather different in its perspective. Djimon Hounsou is a fantastic actor.

I thought that movie was one of the best I have seen in the last couple of years. Simply stellar acting.

Quantum of Solace. And I do not know what everyone is complaining about. That movie was awesome. It was kind of like "License to Kill" but it didn't become draggy. I actually felt it should've been longer. And there was that nod to "Goldfinger" as well.

El Laberinto del fauno. More violent than I had expected. Certainly not a feel good movie but a really impressive and haunting one.

The Crossing Guard. Is a good movie with Jack Nicolson. Quite a moving film about the drink drive killer and his release and the parents of the dead girl, and their reaction.

AS I mentioned in RBP, I caught 5 movies today:

US Marshalls--The only of the 5 I'd seen before. Still a good movie.

The Mummy Returns--You think people would know better...

Weekend at Bernies--I wish I'd seen that years ago.

    Rounders--I liked the psychological insights.

Front of the Class--A Made for TV Movie about a teacher with Tourette Syndrome. I enjoyed it.
