    That one slayed me too. I have only taken Cernd through the entire game once, and had heard he had some hilarious exchanges with Edwina. It's so worth it just for that. :D

    (For the record, his druid spells are pretty awesome by the time you get to ToB so don't write him off because of his crappy stats).

    Ah, his response to the "lowly knobgoblin" quote. Cracked me up too. :D

    (minor spoiler)
    Not really an npc quote but in the Limited Wish quest when you find yourself face to face with the ogre and go into conversation you'll have to choose between a list of diplomatic responses and one violent response. As you begin to learn more and more about the ogre though that particular response become increasingly more violent, from "An ogre! Die!" to "A talking ogre! Die!" to "An ogre-mage! Die!" to "A bargaining ogre! Die!" or something to that effect, getting more and more ridiculous each time.

    whoever did the writing for the bg1npc banter pack for bgt. when jahiera says "if a tree falls in the woods.....i'll find the b@$+@rd what did it!" i just about spit coke all over the moniter. All of imoen comments are pretty funny too, imoen the quick & her sidekick(you)

    Cernd's stats are actually quite decent. All he needs is really the 18 Wis; the other stats can be improved by his werewolfness (IIRC). He gets really awesome if you install WeiDu's improved Werewolf mod, and because the Druid level cap in BG2 is 14, he can get [snip] amazingly early.

    Off-topic, but I just wanted to vouch for Cernd's effectiveness. :D

    Well, would've been fine 'cept for the ToB part. Anyway Cernd's already powerful enough as he is. The only real problem with him is that Druids spells are simply harder to figure out at first. ("Nature acts in the simplest way" ~Cernd... :nono:)
    His werewolf forms is just icing on the cake.

    The kind of sense of humor I have is that I really don't care if nobody gets it. Among various movie quotes, and other sources, I'm also always tossing around BG quotes. My personal favorite is "I done had about enough of this."

    Minsc has a nice one for failed spellcasting too, not often heard because when does he cast spells in combat? =P

    Anyway, Minsc: I turned to shield Boo and lost my spell, I am not sorry.
