The cretin didn't have enough chutzpah to craft a soliloquy that would get him out of the maelstrom of his malfeasance, so he hired a lawyer.

    My words:
    Happy
    Pillow
    Specious
    Frivolous
    Yarn

"That's a specious argument," Rally mumbled, happy to end the political debate with her FIL and lay back against a pillow with yarn and some frivolous TV.

    Some of my favorites:

    Enclave
    Tangent
    Torture
    Rapport
    Sacrifice

For sound as well as meaning though.

I suppose a sentence out of these would be uninteresting compared to everyone else's...

The drow enclave gave a noisy rapport as the maths lecturer continued. "And that, my students, is how you find the hypotenuse with the tangent", he said, "If you get it wrong in the final exam I shall torture you harshly and then sacrifice you to the Spider Queen.

    It's two sentences, but...oh well.

Sorry to revive the old topic, but I couldn't resist :p

    So, (very late I might say) here are my favourite words;

Indeed (probably the most versatile English word ever, it's basically a response to every question / affirmation / sentence whatsoever! it's awesome)

Wool (probably the funniest English "sound" ever)

    Enlightenment

Dude (said with an emphasis on the "u" sound - it's a pretty remarkable word for it has a lot of meaning available in many situations)

Qapla' (OK, ok I know it's not even a natural word, but I figured if people were saying Japanese word I could use Klingon ones :p -- it means "success" btw)

I honestly don't know who the hell I'm supposed to make a sentence with those.

    Five favorite words? HMM

1)Interesting, a word that can be used in two quite different ways, depending on the pronunciation. Interesting, means I think that object/subject is ugly, horrible, disgusting but I don't want to offend the owner so I say: "What an interesting thing that is."
Intresting (pronounced as spelled) means I really do find the object to be of interest.

My next four favorite words aren't allowed here. I don't use them in causal speech and save them for really aggravating situations such as playing games and dealing with dunderheads. If the person is present I don't say them out loud but I think hard.
So I'll move on to my next favorite words.

    2)Serendipitous
    3)nada
    4)no
5)hokay - a variant of okay that comes from one of my favorite Sci-fi stories.

"Hokay, no, I don't find it intresting that the serendipitous discovery actually amounted to nada."
