Facing the Spiders on Iron-Man mode without any preparation is way dense!
If you leave the dead to remain dead, you should be more considerate toward our party!

    Poor, poor Viccy!

Did you have ToTSC? Well, Durlag's tower can be extremely tricky and can end up killing whole of your party in the blink of an eye, if you act carelessly just for a second. Werewolf island also is difficult, especially what with the Greater Wolfwere bug in BG2 engine. Fun for the whole party! :D

He said earlier, no, which is just as well, really.

Hmm, then it can be doable. But still it is going to be challenging. Already you have lost most of the major NPCs. A shame, really.

I want more updates...aaand, by chance, do you plan to continue this playing style to BG2:SoA and eventually to ToB? Which will be a lot harder as there are fewer NPCs available and game is much more difficult and less forgiving, with enemy mages/liches throwing death spells like confetti. :p One failed saving throw and the NPC is gone for.

Worry not, updates will be forthcoming.

I'm not currently planning to carry this onto SoA/ToB. However, I think it'll actually be easier, considering how powerful the party is by that stage. It's true that there are fewer NPCs, but it's also true that the encounters are scaled to level, so there's none of the dramatic "OMG! Vampric wolf at level one!" business you get in BG1. Also, party members have a much higher HP pool, so it's unlikely that they'll die from unlucky criticals (as Eldoth did, for example).

So: not planning it, but maybe.
(characters like Keldorn, Korgan, and Edwin are highly overpowered anyway...)

just be careful which mods you use. i had one(dont know which) that made wolves uber-bad. had 1 single wolf kill of 6 3rd level characters. we must have hit him for 100hp worth of damage & he never stopped.
