Rashomon - A Kurosawa classic. Nice.

Alatriste - picturesque, pretty as a painting at many places, but not a very good movie though, probably doesn't do justice to the book...

Comme une image - nice french flick, funny...

Really intense, and a bit sinister. I really enjoyed this! Michael Douglas was good in it.

Possibly only offset by Peter Sellers as the English officer visiting the psycho American general then later trying to convince a GI to break a vending machine in order to prevent World War III.

"You're gonna have to answer to the Coca-Cola company."

True Lies and Twins. Not really Arnie's best, are they?
Two places where I laughed during these movies:
    1) Every time Arnie used his 'commanding' voice, ie. when he says "Come on" or something like that. It sounds like that soft, quiet voice little boys use when they play with their Action Man figures.
    2) I remembered Rainier Wolfcastle's "My new film is a mixture of action and comedy" line.

Get Smart... my friends and I were 30 minutes late for Kung Fu Panda so we watched this. Better than expected, that's for sure.

    Mongol.

Short version: if you like Mel Gibson's movies, you'll like this. If you don't, you won't.

Have they released an English subbed or even possibly dubbed version of Mongol? Read some buzz about it but seeing as I doubt it will never get here I have checked some other venues and all that was available was funky versions with Russian or Italian voice overs.

Knocked Up. It was funny, but not something I'd go out of my way to watch again...

The Incredible Hulk. Meh. Cool enough. The ending was a bit "OMG a sequel!". But it was worth the movie ticket, even when I was only thinking for the entire time about how much he looked like The Nameless One.

Uhh, it's been a while so the last movies I've seen are more or less the following:

    Lola Rennt (Run Lola, Run)
Martha Meet Frank, Daniel and Lawrence
Derzu Uzala, Rashomon, and The Seven Samurai by Kurosawa
    Tears Of The Sun
    Blueberry
    The Illusionist
Keeping Mum - Patrick Swayze was acted a true slimeball in this one, otherwise a dark comedy, but not nearly as funny as:
Intolerable Cruelty by the Coen Brothers - ZOMG! and roflmao, my neighbours must think I'm crazy I laughed so hard. Kids! Don't hire an asthmatic gunman! :shake:

    Sword of Doom!

Simply a great flick! The fight at the "rather" abrupt end is a Body-count fest!
Too bad it never became a trilogy as it was intended!
