[IMG] Today I was playing BGII (duh, why else would I post it here?), anyways I ran over a trap in the slaver stockade making my character feebleminded. I didn't notice and did a quicksave. Now I have a real problem. The character can't move so I can't leave the area. I looked in the spell's descriptions and it says the effect is permanent until dispelled. I don't have any dispel magic memorized and can't memorize it because I can't sleep. I'm stuck...

If you have the console enabled just press CTRL+T (or CTRL+R if you have ToB) while holding your cursor over the character.
OR CLUAConsole:CreateItem("SCRL1E") and cast it from the scroll.

(Oh, NTW i dont cheat anymore, just still remember the key comcos)

Feeblemind should wear off after a while - if it is permanent it must be a bug.

So, for the latter case: Have you tried to reload the last autosave ?

Can't you go to a temple and have them get rid of it? I think you can but I'm not sure if they do dispell magic. Restoration will work though if it is greater restoration that they cast at the temple. I'm not sure about lesser restoration.

That's just it. IIRC when you are feebleminded you are to stupid to even move, you're rooted to the ground :(.

Is the feebleminded character the protagonist? If not you could always try killing them and raising them later (though it could lead to some interesting discussions later in camp: "Why did you kill me?" "You were just too stupid...but you're better now" ;))

    annoying problem eh?
well, I loaded the autosave and the result was that it saved me 4 charges on the resurrection wand, so I'm happy.
These people really die fast now I'm playing the insane difficulty level...
