    This sucks...It's going to snow every single day between now and the day *after* we move! It started snowing about 6 hours ago and it hasn't stopped. By the time I get the moving truck and everyone's ready, we're going to have to shovel a path through 2 feet of snow before any moving of boxes can commence. :flaming:

    I know we desperately need it...but does it *have* to happen on the weekend that we're moving!?!? :bang: :rolling:

    Played football yesterday after a long lay-off, mainly because most of the people I play with left the country for holidays.

    Should have taken it easy, now I'm aching all over and I tore the skin on the sole of my left foot pretty bad, and I have two blisters on my right foot.

    Looking forward to leaving for a holiday myself this Friday :)

    My condolences Uri...I can empathise to a degree because of the cat I had a fwe months ago. She was about 6 months old, she shattered her hip somehow and I didn't have the money to even amputate letalone repair her leg so the vet offered to put her to sleep for free...heartbreaking decision that one...

    I'm sorry to hear that. :(

    In turn, I've resigned my job. I didn't have any alternative offers, but the conditions were insulting and I decided I was better off seeking a new one full time and catching up with academic work than "working there until I find something better", meaning when I get back home I'm too tired to look for jobs. Tomorrow is my last "field assignment" and after that I'm a free man.

    From what we can tell he wouldn't have suffered, it appeared he was hit in the head. Somebody had the decency to take him off the road and we gave him a burial before i went to work. Needless to say the other kitty has been getting lots of hugs today :heh:
