Dumping Items.... Ideas?

    I admit, my characters are always pack rats. But I suspect I can dump some items so that I don't spend so much time travelling....

    Like these +x Ring of Protection items. It always claims a conflict with something being worn with my fighters, and my magic users already have rings that enhance spell casting...

    I also tend to have redundant weapons, but do I need the +1, +5 against shapeshifters/dragons/other rare enemies, when I already have the +4 weapons?

    Any input would be appreciated.

    Put another way, are there items I'll regret dumping if I already have something better? Are there later levels that involve creatures that destroy weapons or armor, for example?

    In that case, maybe the +2 Ring and other, lesser, armors might help as a backup?

    I don't believe you will regret throwing anything out if you have found something better. The main problem as I recall in IWD is in finding something better :)

    No destruction or armor or weapons afaik. So sell off all the useless stuff.
