A classic. This thread is for sharing tips on how to get the gold medal on all missions for Rogue Squadron (N64). Right now I am having trouble getting the gold medal for the Beggar's Canyon mission. How in the world do you beat Wedge without slamming into some canyon wall?

I still have the PC game, crammed back on the Hurt Spindle, somewhere.

I think there's some N64 codes too, but I never played it on that box, so I'm not sure. The third (second??) one just came out on the Cube, if I'm not mistaken. I haven't checked into it; consoles are lost on me.

I really hate Wedge on that level, the man seems to enjoy slamming on top of me and resulting in his own death as he bounces off, thus ending the mission.

On N64 it's actually rather decend game, but on GC... Played only thrice it after buying it; the game just keeps pissing me off...

PS. The first space mission is absolutely the best one in the game :)

Personally, I find the Death Star mission as the best :thumb:

@Virne: You just couldn't get past it, could you! ;) :p

I didnt have any trouble crashing into the walls in beggars canyon level, however actually blowing up the fella without getting hurt was a bit tricky. Absolutely loved that game, makes me wanna go out an buy a N64 again!

I beat Wedge! My first try in around a year and I beat him!

I found that trying to stay low to the canyon floor (Jedi Reflexes needed ;) ) to avoid Wedge crashing into you and only using the accelerator in short burst on those tiny straights was the best way to beat him.
