[IMG] Anyone ever play any of those early Sierra games? I think one of the first games I ever played was Leisuresuit Larry one. Funny funny game! This was back in like the Ultima 5 days when you had to actually "type" conversations. Imagine! Typing things to say to a computer!

Leisuresuit was kind of funny. Colonel's Bequest was good, too.

I liked King's Quest 3, on the Apple //gs. The little timer that was running, and you used to keep track of when the wizard was going to return or wake-up, really gave a sense of urgency to your exploration and spell making. Especially the first couple of times when you didn't realize his pattern was 20 minutes, and you thought you just managed to sneak out for 5 or 10 minutes.

Sierra really jump started the adventure games.

"Leisure Suit Larry 7: Love for Sail" -the only one I have seen. Shamelessly copied it from my friend, but it was too old for my comp and refused to work :(

I got suspended for a week because of LSL 6. I forgot to take it out of my schoolbag and then when I was in school I uploaded it onto the school network. People had fun with that untill the teachers noticed that nobody was doing any work on the computers. Instead everyone was playing the game. Of course the idiot network admin in school made me take it off . Stupid idiot doesn't even know how to uninstall software. Pathetic...

I finished LL6 (the one in the hotel). Tried 4 or 5, but the earlier ones were realy (really) old graphics, so i didnt bother. I'd love to play the newer ones - i heard they go up to about LL10.

Played most of them, only finished 6 and 7, great games in my opinion.

Here's a great quote from seven.

Larry - Tickle your ass with a feather?

    Victoria - excuse me

Larry - I said peticular nasty weather

    Victoria - oh.....really?

    Love that game :D

[IMG] I must admit I had no patience back then, I do remember one scene only where I tried in all ways possible to sneak into the women showers and watch the nude chicks, but somehow the game prevented me from that or it was a major turndown which made me forget...

Now that I think of it the game might have been Codename Iceman, also by sierra. I didn't get my women in showers, so I turned to real life instead.

You couldnt get into the female showers at all IIRC. You could only see their silohette of the chicks on the semi-transparent glass block wall. God i'm sad for remembering that.

Don't know how long back you mean, but the only early sierra games i've played are Lords of the Realm 1&2, do they count..?
