Well if you really want them spoiled, but I can tell you it's a lot more fun to find them by surprise so just in case you reconsider I'll do this.

    ******SPOILERS AHEAD******

There's one in the dungeon complex under Windspear hills. One in the temple ruins(both can be accessed in any chapter where you can reach Athkatla). One more is located in chapter 4(I'm not quite sure if it is chapter 4 or 5). And the last dragon is found in the final chapter. If I forgot any I'm sure another member can fill in those dragons. :)

Two are found in the final chapter, and you won't be able to avoid running into them. :)

I am not sure about the chapters but, the locations are correct. I am reluctant to give spoilers so I only listed what you requested.

Lets just say you may not want to fight all of them.

    -Windspear Hills

    Chapter 4?
    -Underdark

    Chapter 6?

Well, here are locations of the ones in SOA, i thought these were the only ones, and there is a little discription of them.

Umar Hills Dungeon: Shadow Dragon, doesn't attack you if you have the Shadow gem, needs to be killed to obtain the scroll of the Crom Faeyr.

Windspear Hills: Firkraag (Red), the real form of Lord Jierdan Firkraag, doesn't need to be killed, tells you alot, but has to be killed to obtain the Carsomyr+5 for the Radiant Heart.

Underdark: Silver Dragon, musn't be killed for game progress, needs eggs back from Ust Natha.

Suldanessalar: Black Dragon, Irenicus pet, attacks you, and you need to obtain the goblet to enter the main palace.

Hell: Dragon, is there for your conscience, kill it if you are evil, let it live if you are good.

    The Underdark is Chapter 5.

    Suldanesselar is Chapter 7.

Tactics puts one into the Small Teeth Pass. I've never heard of one that puts one into the Druid Grove.

There's an improved druid grove mod (can't remember the name) which puts a powerful brown dragon in the grove after you defeat Faldorn.

And The Darkest Day adds, along with a few dozen bugs, three dragons in an Underdark-type area.

I feel bad when I kill dragons. They might be evil, but they are so cool. They are the ulimate in power. They can physically destroy you, and if they aren't happy with that, they can cast spells both arcane and clerical.

Thats why I don't like fighting a dragon unless I have to.

Well some of the dragons in the game are really just asking for it, but yeah I know what you mean.....

If you have BG II TOB installed there are [snip]....

[ToB spoilers removed. Considering he posted in the SoA-only forum, he apparently does not have ToB installed.] -Tal
