[IMG] Any tips on aiming lightning bolt spells? I always manage to hurt Aerie pretty badly when I get her to cast them. :)

[IMG] Aerie is a mage/cleric right? Ok, there's a cleric spell called protection from electricity, use it.

Don't cast them directly at a 'normal' head on angle at a wall - angle them so they will bounce off walls - think snooker or billiards!

However this way if you are not careful you may end up injuring party members (or worse still - innocent civilians)! Be careful! I don't really use lightning bolt spells much - I'm more of a 'Melf's Mini Meteor' man myself!

Use Minor Globe of Invulnerability. You will have to protect your other party members though but certainly Aerie can handle a hit and run by herself.

Yikes! Reminding me of physics and angles of reflection and all that komei... but that was the kind of advice I was looking for.

Just a sidethought: Does lightning slow golems in this game like it did before?

No it does not. If you experience slowness on the screen, it's only graphically related. Golems will act with the same speed they've had before.

I find that the game always manages to twist my lightning bolts to somehow hit or get damn close to my party members...

Could give her the boots of grounding as well
