    It's cold outside right now at 5am. The cars in the parking lot outside are all frosted over. :bad:

    I had a dream yesterday about this great SimCity/Tycoon game. You build a bar or club, make it interesting enough to get a lot of customers and keep them happy. You know, the same idea as any Tycoon game, but the hitch: vampires randomly attack your bar/club to feed and destroy the place. Since the normal people work all day, they can only come to your business at night.

    Then I thought how this would work as a mod to the other, famous Tycoon games.

    Zoo Tycoon - PETA supporters randomly free animals, freed animals may attack zoo visitors and/or employees.

    Railroad Tycoon - Outlaw and Indian random attacks on your train.

    I had hopes of meeting again this lass (the co-worker I spoke of last week) tonight, so two days ago I sent her an invitation for a nice coffee tonight. Haven't had any replies since. Maybe I'm just being overdramatic or plain dumb. Meh so turns out I'm again alone on a friday night.

    Today is going to suck. After I get off work at 7am, I have to get ready for an all day seminar. While I'm actually really looking forward to the free classes...I'm dreading the fact that I'll be going 30+ hours without sleep. :bad: I wonder if I can learn while I'm literally a zombie... :rolling:

    I second Gnarf's opinion on the new boards - they tend to resemble the other fora I frequent which is both good (Jelsoft Ent. rocks IMO) and bad (I feel wistful nostalgia about patronising a board that was uniquely different than all the rest...)

    ION, the cold is almost gone - I worked through a 'tired' day yesterday with no noticeable sniffles or congestion or headache, and only an occasional cough, but I was just so worn out... I think I nodded off a couple of times whilst standing at my counter. :mommy: Today, I have a bit more of a cough, which is loosening mild chest congestion.
