    Luxemburg: I bet atleast 40% of teenagers (14->) drink sometimes, 25% regularly. Overaged ( :evil: ) folks drink like fish, people are drunk in the summer, even in middle of the day. Portuguese people seem to be wasted right after they come out of work. Even our small family buys four 7x8 boxes of beer every year.

    Things are seriously mixed up in here!

    The logical way would be taking the amount of beer consumed and dividing by population.

    The US is only 13th?!?! That can't be right...I mean were not a bunch of alcoholics like Ireland...but still...13?!? :skeptic:

    Utah isn't helping the situation either, since you have to buy all wines/liquor/"exotic" beer from a government owned and operated liquor store. :bang: :rolling:

    I love how everyone is so surprised that their country is not higher on the list. Everyone can't be in the top five! I'm not surprised that USA isn't any higher than 13th. Such a diverse population. There must be millions of people who don't drink beer at all in the USA.

    As for Darwin, the only things in that place are crocodiles and pubs.

    yeah, that's what a per capita measurement means. like GDP per capita is GDP divided by the population of the country.

    hrm, we're not even on the list, i'm surprised as San Miguel Beer is something like 5% of our GDP.
