Bahir and Saber are right, so I'm introducing a new rule; check the first page.

Guidelines be fine, but a new rule is for the fools.
IJA would work just fine here; anybody else notice Fara hasn't responded in nearly three days?

I spy, with my little eye, something that begins with S and ends with P. What am I looking at right now? (Hint: it's only two letters long :shake: )

First off, the "She" in the bear in the barbershop would be the chick that shot the bear. Hey, It makes about as much sense as the riddle...

Secondly, The one that begins with an "S" and ends with a "P" and is only two letters long, would ovbiously be "SP", which, IIRC is this site...

I think it's the mouse riddle, though, yes, they are getting a bit overstuffed. I don't like having to do hard thinking to solve one. No wonder I use a w/t with the BG2 riddles! :p

Back from prolonged meetings about church schools.

The answer to the first riddle is:

    The higher the fewer.

It's an old english one which relates to the counterweight of a sash window.
I did say I didn't know the answer to the second, I just wondered if anyone else did.

    A new one:

A woman has 7 children, half of them are boys.
    How can this be possible?

    Because they are all boys.

EDIT: I just checked the previous page... Err... Caracaroth, Lost Meme got the answer to the mouse riddle! So it should be his go (I think).

Oh dear, I'm all confused again...

I did just have a thought about the bear one, though. The answer could just be "his fiancee", and all the stuff about a bear a piece of misdirection. 'Tis just a thought, anyway.

Ach Terribly Sorry LM, missed your post entirely.

Mags, Possibly. I had thoughts along the lines of a famous person with "Bear" as a nickname, or possibly a "Chicago Bear" or even a famous Russian.

    (Damn lousy internet connection)
The answer to mine was that he lives in a houseboat on the ocean. Saltwater is not potable, and thus, he would die of thirst.

    Since Magpie hasn't posted, I'll go;

    What's neither fish nor flesh,
    feather nor bone,
    but still has fingers,
    and thumbs of it's own?

One from the Dad (who enjoyed tormenting his little toddlers with this) and easily figure-out-able:

    A cow and a calf
Eat a bale and a half
In a day and a half
How much do they eat in a week?
