Watched the Chelsea - Liverpool game. 0-0? Anyone up to writing a letter to the soccer commission to get rid of 0-0. 1-1 is okay, but not 0-0.

    Dear Fascist Bully Boy

Please make the goals bigger so we don't have 0-0 draws all the time.

0-0 away, what more can i, as a liverpool fans who wears liverpool jersey on liverpool match day here in ames, iowa, u.s., ask for?

Defense is a form of art, just like attack. Defense has to be 100% correct to win a match whereas offense just need that one out of a million chance.

Next time, please don't post the score. i don't have direct access viewing the match, have to wait for delayed .... method.

Everyone expected Chelsea to just turn up and win. HA! we've beaten bigger and better teams than chelsea at Anfield this season.

Whilst I don't doubt that Liverpool can do it, I have a sneaking suspicion - as a neutral - that this is all part of some Mourinho master plan, and Chelsea are either going to turn up at Anfield and win 1-0 or sneak through on the away goals rule.

BTW, what does everyone think about the FA potentially giving the Champions' League slot to the 4th place team, rather than Liverpool if they win it and don't get into 4th? Surely you can't deny the holders the chance to defend the trophy, if it comes to pass?

Take out the 0-0 score ? Definitely not. Sometimes a 0-0 draw can have a higher level of entertainment than a 5-0 victory. You must really hate football to come up with a dumbass proposition like that.

Mourinho is bricking it, "fantastic result"? it's their home leg and they've got nothing to show for it. If we'd had a 0-0 at Anfield the press would have said it was all over, they've been no better than us in head to head games this season and they have had all the luck, own goals, deflections, we've had 3 certain pens turned down.

I'm not making excuses but the facts are there, all we have to do is win at our own place and we are well capable of that.

"BTW, what does everyone think about the FA potentially giving the Champions' League slot to the 4th place team, rather than Liverpool if they win it and don't get into 4th? Surely you can't deny the holders the chance to defend the trophy, if it comes to pass? "

While it would be harsh on Everton, they have absolutly no euro seeding, they'd draw a very good team in the qualifying.... IMO it would be a waste of a space to let them in over us if we win. But its up to the FA and I don't think they'd take us over Everton.

Besides if we don't qualify I think that would be the end of Liverpool and Stevie ME, which can only be a good thing

Good result for Chelsea. I think 0-1 or 1-1 at anfield. Chelsea - Milan final

If Liverpool brings it home next week, Lampard's failure to make a goal about a meter distance from the goal will be the misser of the season.

And why not ? In football ANYTHING is possible, even a team of amateurs can occasionally beat a pro team. Everyone thinks Milan is already in the finals, i say they are still 90 minutes away from there, 90 minutes in which PSV will give em hell, just like Deportivo did last year. With a little more luck they could have made at least one goal in San Siro, but fortune was on Milan's side. Maybe things will be different next week, who can tell ?

    No Hope?

Seeing that Liverpool managed to keep the 0 at an away game and on top of that managed to create a few serious opportunities on a goal, I wouldn't say there is no hope.

Good result for Liverpool. Althought 99 times out of a hundred, Lampard would have buried that and when you pay £24million for a star forward, he should be able to drop that one in that Drogba missed...

Anything can happen at Anfield. I'd rather sit firmly on this here fence if you don't mind.

It was not a good result for Liverpool. The pressure is seriously on Liverpool now, 1-1 will see Chelsea through. I just cannot see Chelsea going to anfield and not scoring at least 1 or 2 goals. Chelsea have beaten them 3 times in the last 4 meetings

You're making the same mistake most other people keep making over and over again, you're trying to find patterns and logic calculations. Haven't you noticed by now that there is no logic in football ? Chelsea may have beaten Liverpool three times this season already, but that means jack **** for this series. This is cupfootball, a completely different universe. Didn't the fact that Greece are champions of Europe learn you anything ?

Chelsea seemed to be better team, it is possible though that the Liverpool tactics will eventually get to them and they'll try to take bigger risks giving Liverpool more chances. I do however predict that Chleasea goes through with 1-1.

Well, 1 day and 17 hours to go, I cant wait, I want liverpool to win and go through, but, if you asked me to bet my life on it, I can't say, anfield is just one of those stadiums... Personally I think chelsea are too pressurised by the fact that they have won the premier league and are now expected to win the champions league too, but liverpool have proven formidable in europe despite the lack of effort in the domestic games...
