Well I got just one thing to say. Don't bring no weed to Indonesia. It's just not smart. I mean, don't do the crime if you can't do the time. Why do you think I don't go on homicidal killing spree, murdering Celine Dion, Shania Twain, and all the other crappy canadian pop singers? Because I don't wanna die for it.

Besides, no offence to anyone who may or may not live in Indonesia, but that place is a hole. Why would you want to visit there? Malasia... maybe.

I fail to see how people can't realise how wise this statement is. Possessing drugs is stupid enough, but trying to take them overseas when you KNOW people check for things, especially after the bombing incident in Indonesia. The mind boggles at how stupid some people can be.

    @ Mystra's Chosen

So Indonesia is a hole... you made your opinion based on.... ? Ever been there ? For your information, compared to most other Asian countries, Indonesia, is a tropical paradise, you won't find a more beautiful, exotic place on earth. The people are very friendly and their kitchen beats every other kitchen in the world. And what's more, it's really cheap overthere, basically the only thing that costs a lot of money (from my point of view) is the planeticket, life in Indonesia itself is, compared to life in Europe, almost for free.

Just a couple of times arrested and spent the night in a police cell. Driving without license, illegal races that kind of things. Thank god it wasn't my car so they couldn't take it.. :D

@Pac-man - I based my statement on the fact that Indonesia's GDP per capita is $3000 (2001 est.).

Oddly enough. I've never even been arrested. Never even been given a ride home in a cruiser.

The closest I came was when I was 17 and myself and some friends were caught smoking weed on the school roof at 3 in the morning.

I've been arrested, but I've never been to jail aside from visiting old ones. In fact, only Alkatraz.

I never realised how many criminals there were on these Boards.

I feel like a goody good for having never been arrested or anywhere near a jail (except Alcatraz). I don't think I've even spoken to a policeman (expect at roadblocks but that doesn't really count).

Yes, Chapelle (sp?) Corby was arrested on arrival in Indonesia with about 4.2kg of marijuana in her Bodyboard bag. Mind you, she got through 2 Australian airports successfully with it...make you wonder.

Anyway, enough :yot: from me, I've been in a police-cell once for about 4 hours for trying to hock stolen goods, been 'talked to' at home by a police detective twice for shoplifting and sat in an interview room being interviewed for alleged "sexual assault" courtesy of a girl who used to claim she was in love with me. And that doesn't even bring into account all my time in Family Court or the numerous times my most recent ex made complaints which were followed up. :D

Nope, been breathalised once but that was negative. To be honest, growing up in rural Gloucestershire, I hardly ever saw a policeman. They were a pretty useless bunch and tried to arrest my Brother for burgling my Grans place. They had his finger prints on file for drink-driving a moped (they took him to the station, finger-printed him, took him back to the bike and told him to drive home) This obviously made him a prime suspect.
