    press release:

‘World's first runway for extraterrestrial cultures’

The two roundabouts connecting the municipality Houten with the A27 highway and their connecting road have been transformed into a runway for extraterrestrial cultures. The one roundabout is a UFO landing platform, a lighted smooth tar plate decorated with a giant letter U. On the other roundabout a control tower, which signals in two light colours whether safe landing is possible or not. On the 500 metre long road between the roundabouts, blue sunken floor lights, as seen at airports. The runway is a serious attempt to offer extraterrestrial cultures a possibility to land. It 's a monument for hope and expectation.

Well, i think we now officially lost our marbles overhere. It's so good to see my taxmoney is being so well spent. :D

Maybe that's exactly the reason they build it, to prevent further ravaging of our cropfields. :D

That's the problem with you humans. You want to force the entirety of existence to stick to your roads and off the grasses and crops which make such good landing areas. This just makes us more determined to land in crops.
