My bros and me will be there for sure (assuming the netherland actually qualify), we got tickets for this EC also so there's no reason we're not getting them for the WC.

Can't wait although I'm not impressed with our team yet.

We all should meet up there, it would be cool, even though it is a bit early to decide nowadays.

As I said, my father is a German and his cousin works in the german football assosiation(sp?) and have promised to save us some tickets so that they doesn't sells out before we orders them. :D

Pac Man, don't drive to Cologne. They serve beer in test tubes there...and it tastes like dishwater. :D

I should reserve tickets as well, but without money, it's kinda hard. :(
By the way, ticket sale will start in spring 2005.

Not really, even though Southampton is the team I support somewhat in the Premiership. I had just hoped that Manure would go completely down the drain this year.

Well, they are well on their way to make you a happy man then. Last week v.Nistelrooy screwed his teammates by making that incredibly dumb foul, and now they fall to another little team. I expected much more of Man U with the adition of Rooney, but so far it's been pretty dissapointing. This might be Chelsea's year.

Man Utd's problem is in the midfield. When Beckha,m was here and Scholesy, Giggsy, Keano and Butt were all in their prime, they bossed the middle of the park. Now they have the likes of Miller, Djemba Djemba and Kleberson. It's not a trophy winning team.

Nope, just well past his best. Can't play every game nowadays.

    Plays most though.

That's sad, players of his caliber are always underestimated. They are pretty much invisible for 90 minutes, but nobody works harder then them. Every team needs at least one player with such an attitude. We used to have them overhere in Holland, but not anymore. Nowadays everyone wants to be the flashy guy, score goals and walk off the pitch with clean shorts.

Yep, still get plenty over here. Gerrard and Lampard do that kind of thing. I still rate Butt as one of the best defensive midfielders in England though.

Did anyone see Ezequiel (sp?) Gonzalez's goal against Arsenal? That was awesome.

The UEFA league is starting to look sweeter and sweeter day by day. :D

I'm surprised you guys dont discuss that more.

Henry deserves it. But it is decided by Sepp Blatter and his idiotic cronies in FIFA. They will probably give it to Deco (diving wanker) or Ronaldinho (ugly ****).

If there's any justice in football (ha!), it will be Shevchenko.

And it will be decided by "national managers, team captains and representatives from FIFPro". Cronies, the lot of them.

Deco is not able to win anymore. It will either be Henry, Ronaldinho, or Shevchenko (go!).

Vote for Ronaldinho. He may not be the best looking out there and I'm not a big fan of the Brazilian way op playing. Yet.....

The thing is he is always smiling when playing and you can literally see the joy on his face which easily translates in the way he plays soccer.

The way he plays what? I thought this discussion was about football  .

And Ronnie is a good lad, but Henry is the best player in the World. It's about time he won this damn thing.

Not that it really means anything though, let's be honest.

And why the hell should Shevchenko win it before Mr Va-Va-Voom? Don't get me wrong, Shev is a brilliant player, but he's not as good as Henry.
