Strill listening to Heather Alexander... much love for these songs. Not enough songs actually tell a tale rahter than just repeat some inanity over and over again....

Sune's patience, not another one!

Why is it that the left speaker blows no matter what you do?

Bands like to play music from the left one louder.

Maybe it's the political influence of Green Day, NOFX etc. Left rules, right is subdued.

(sorry if you like them, I just cannot stand any of those bands :p )

So...it looks like I was mistaken about the song I had stuck in my head the other day. It was *not* Primus...I must have misheard the DJ on the radio, and now I don't even know who sings that 'One-Way Ticket to Hell' song.

What did that DJ say? :help: :rolling:

Yes, i absolutely love children of bodom, saw them in concert in January. Alexi Laiho is probably one of the greatest guitar players, in this time. Well, just overall, some guys are much more skilled, but I just love his stuff.

I don't think I've bought a single CD for myself ever since I got a library card. Let's see, that cost me $1, and since I got that card about 4 years ago, I haven't had to buy a single CD...and yet my Mp3 collection continues to grow and grow. :hahaerr:

It's about time to put on some Metallica. :rolling:

I don't think Wacken ever actually run out of tickets. They advertise it at about 30-40,000, but they always seem to have some left to sell.

Hey Sabre, if you like Helloween, check out the mighty Gamma Ray. They are 1000's of times better IMHO.

You also mention that you like hardcore, have you listened to Inflames 'Clayman' album? That was a major influence for the more melodic hardcore bands.

Helloween's last couple of albums have been a bit substandard, imo. Songwriting-wise Weikath seems to be in a coma.

The first three albums were really something. And the first three with Andi Deris were good (Master Of The Rings, The Time Of The Oath, Better Than Raw).

I second the statement about Gamma Ray being better. Just listened to Blast From The Past today after a long break.
