    I have few bands confirmed to play at next year's Metalmania festival:
    TESTAMENT! in original line-up! :banana: :D
    Moonspell, Nevermore, Anathema, Carpathian Forest (Black Metal Ist Krieg!)+many more
    All I need now is Iced Earth :bigeyes:

    We have today, December 13th 2005, the 4th anniversary of Chuck Shuldiner’s passing, one of the greatest metal musicians, the father of death metal.
    Of course today I was listening to ALL Death albums (+to Control Denied as well ;) ). Let's drink for his soul.

    [​IMG] I finally got a Cruachan album as they were described as Irelands finest 'Celtic Metal' band, and its horrible!

    Boring thrash metal riffs with some tin whistle and keyboards (emulating harps) to add some depth to the cliché riffs. The female's singing was okay, but the male was pathetic, especially when he sang in gaelic out of tune! Also I thought it was strange to mix N.I politics with tales of Irish mythology.

    I guess there is interest in the band, because the female singer is blonde and wears a short skirt.

    Anyway, I shall be sticking to Primordial, Waylander and Gaesa for my celtic metal fix.

    They have ex-members of Primordial and Abaddon Incarnate and sound quite good.

    Do you have 'Somewhere out in Space' by Gamma Ray? You mentioned you liked space music...

    I still don't have Somewhere Out in Space, though I plan to get it at some point.

    I'm going a bit folky at the moment, recently I've been listening to nothing but Bathory, Forefather and Falkenbach.
