Does it help to put experience profiencies in these slots? :spin:

It might be good to put a couple in single weapon proficiency, as it gives a bonus to armour class - useful early on. I don't know if it affects fist attacks, but you'll probably use a weapon from time to time at first anyway, and monks can't use their off hand.

Monks will be fighting mostly unarmed, and the weapon style bonuses have no effect on slings and darts (the only ranged weapons monks may use). However, the Scarlet Ninja-to +3 (poison damage, +1 attacks/round) is only usable by monks, and you might pick that up for some reason.

So what you're saying is, you might as well put 2 slots in single weapon prof just in case as you won't need them for any actual weapons. :p

So is my Monk fighting with two hands or is one tied behind his back? :coffee:

Don't think of a monk as fighting with his/her hands. Think of it as attacking unarmed, so it's not just fists, but kicks, headbutts, etc.
