None of those - though if I was absolutely forced to listen to one it would be Blind Guardian because there's a good chance that my opinion of them has changed since I last looked into their music :)

Haven't heard Blind Guardian, haven't liked Korn since their first album, Metallica cut their hair... that leaves Iron Maiden! ;)

Ministry stomps the lot of 'em!

    Friggin' "Nu metal"...*spit*

I am a punk anyway so outisde of select grindcore bands I am not impressed with most metal bands. I chose "none".

Edit: Though the first two albums by Iron Maiden w/ Paul Diano on vox were pretty good. They had an atmospheric quality that was kind of haunting. Number of the Beast, when Dickonson took over on lead vocals seemed to lose a lot of that adn when Piecce of Mind came out they were just a bad joke altogether. All smiles and spandex from that point on.

Everyone listen to 'The Bards Song' by Blind Guardian. Its excellent!

Korn I would not urinate on if they were on fire. What sort of name is 'korn' anyway?

Iron Maiden. They are clearly my favorites on this list. I would have chosen Black Sabbath but you didn't ask :D

One of the Ramones went to find God also Aikanaro, but then he discovered hiphop!

If it was not for Iron Maiden most of the great bands today, would probably not exist - I am thinking early Inflames and Dark Tranquility.

I voted 'None', hoping 'None' is not a name of a metal band.

DHB, DR, Jack Funk and Chandos probably can name a few music bands that I like. None of them play metal or hardrock.

I checked 'None'. When it comes to metal bands, I prefer Rammstein. "Reise, Reise" is one of the best albums of 2004 IMHO.

Generally, I prefer R.E.M., Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Coldplay and so on...

EDIT: A new gem?! When did that happen :D

There's a saddening lack of Led Zeppelin in this poll.
