    Loved the first half, hated the second. Once Alan Alda got so self-righteous, Wayne Rogers, Larry Linville and McLean Stevenson quit, and Loretta Swit's character mellowed, it just wasn't the same.


    Edit: Looks like you may need some remedial poll-making classes -- I assumed that the repeat of the question was the yes, but you should probably have had separate boxes for no and don't care.

    I'm with dmc. It was great with the original cast, but as they started to replace cast members, the show gradually lost its edge, until watching it was almost like watching The Waltons.

    loved it, still watch it quite often. I love the whole series but Col. Blacke was a riot. Much funnier in the earlier episodes. I agree with joacqin though, the final episode is still one of the most watched tv shows ever put on the air.
