Here in Sweden the 13th warrior is considered real crap, and still the people here seems to love it.

    I like it though.

Also, considering the nature of this board, isn't it a bit strange that the D&D movie isn't listed anywhere? :D

It isn't Antonio Banderas' role in the movie that makes it great. It is all of those hot viking chicks.

    4. The Boondock Saints
    3. American Beauty
    2. Good Will Hunting
    1. Mallrats

Strange list, but hey... I like comedies. Two Towers is easily the best LotR movie imo. Lots of awesome scenery and the siege scene. Boy do I like sieges...

Mallrats is obviously the best Kevin Smith movie, obviously because of the comical value. And I like 'Ben Affleck', for he was the bomb in Phantoms... Daredevil JUST didn't make the list ;)

    4. Gladiator
    3. Interview with the Vampire (you seen this, Arabwel?)
    2. Silence of the Lambs
    1. The Rocky Horror Picture Show

Gladiator's got a lot of atmosphere (I can even overlook that *dreadful* remark about Rome being founded as a Republic!), Interview with the Vampire is a beautifully-made film, and contains the second best 'villain' ever, Silence of the Lambs contains the best villain (no inverted commas this time!) ever, and RHPS is oddly innocent fun at its best :)

    And for something completely different:

    1. Casablanca (this will always be my #1 movie)

The updated SP Movie Hall of Fame (based on votes to date) is as follows:

    1. Gladiator
    2. The Fellowship of the Ring
    3. The Two Towers
    4. Return of the King
    5. Braveheart
    6. 13th Warrior
    7. The Last Samurai
    8. Good Will Hunting
    9. Blade
    10. Boondock Saints
    11. Pirates of the Caribbean
    12. The Matrix

This is still a very strange list of movies, in my opinion........

Due to the nature of this board, that would probably everyone's choice for number 1 in the WORST 4 :D

Agreed. Considering the fact that the people here are much more likely to be critical of such a movie, and the simple fact it did a piss poor job.

1.) Orgazmo - Trey Parker & Matt Stone take the piss out of Super hero and Porn movies in one go.
2.) Shawshank Redemption - Best ever film adaption of a book.
3.) LOTR Trilogy - Admired for itself, ignoring that it messes too much with the books storyline
4.) Dogma - My favourite outing of Jay & Silent Bob.

LotR, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, the Last Samurai. Not necessarily in this order, but likely so.

    1. Kill Bill I
    2. Old Boy
    3. LOTR TTT
    4. Dolls /Insomnia/ Steve+Sky

Dolls and Steve+Sky are somewhat more obscure films. Note that Steve+Sky is a BELGIAN production. ;) and that the link takes you to a DVD review, so ignore the extras.
