I like the Cavalier, Archer and the kensai. The Cavalier and Archer just have cool abilities and fighting advantages. How the Cavalier will work is a question without mounts in BG2. The weapon specialist just give a nice new slant to fighter. I really liked Oriential Adventures back in the day. I also like the Berserker but only the one in the Viking handbook not the one in the fighter's handbook. But no Mage kits, that is kind of a shame. I think they would be interesting. What your opinion?

yeah, mage kits could be cool, not sure how a kit for a mage would work

Specialists mages in BG2 seem the same as BG and IWD. not sure if those rules listed on the Kit page apply to BG and IWD. like +15% to learn spell within school, -15% when not in school.

I like the fighter kits because they add some well needed diversity to fighters, who generaly were all alike.

Ah, kits. I can't wait to play BGII with one of those interesting kits! Frankly, I can't see why anyone would import their BGI character when all these interesting role-playing options are available.

Having decided that I will definitely play a kit character with it, I'm torn on which kit. After reading all the descriptions, I've narrowed it down to the fab four: archer, shapeshifter, kensai, skald. I've never played either a druid or a bard as my main character before, so I'll probably to with shapeshifter or skald.

I'd like to hope I could play them all eventually, but from what I'm reading about the size of the game (friggin' huge), it sounds like once you've decided on a character, you'll be stuck with it for a loooooong time. This, of course, makes the decision even that much more difficult.

    Kits?
Well, This season's Rangers kit is nice, Italy have a great design, Liverpool's is sh** as usual, and Chelsea haven't changed it.

Ya know, it seems like every post hooligan_inc puts up is more about footy than about RPGs. Now, I'm a fan myself (Arsenal, and proud of it!), so this has been relatively amusing so far. But it's really starting to get a little dry. You can't tell me there aren't about a zillion internet posterboards devoted to your favorite topic where the other participants might actually give a damn.

Hat's off, though, for the "Rangers" pun. I vaguely recall hearing about some minor league basketball team called the Paladins once. And of course, let's not forget the noble and storied history of the Kansas City Wizards!

[IMG] Cantona?! I knew that was you hiding behind that witty username! I don't know what the FA would do without you (not to mention Keller).

    [IMG] I think I'll be a Barbarian, a Wizardslayer or a cavalier.
-Cavaliers are esspecialy usefull against the nasty dragons we'll encounter and the even nastier (If at all possible!) vampires!
(If those are under "demonic creatures)

-A Wizardslayer will be extremely usefull against the wizards (duh) and the djinni's and dragons and all spell-using creatures.

-The Barbarian (Esspecialy the half-orc variant!) will be extremely powerful against probably anyone,
but no one in particular, but they can kick serious butts, just keep 'em in mind...!

    Wizardslayer sounds cool
