Well, I keep thinking that every time I view those events, that they will, somehow, have a diminished impact on me. But sadly, or thankfully, depending on how one looks at it, they don't. Some people say we become numb to the horror after some time has passed....I don't think we ever do; I hope I never do.

    Thanks for posting that.

Quite moving. Enya is the perfect musical background for that - she manages to combine sadness, hope and quiet dignity all into one musical score.

Few things make me cry, but this was one of them. It is a very tragic, senseless memory. I have been thinking about the defining moments of generations. For some people, the question is "where were you and what were you doing when you heard that JFK was assassinated?" For my generation, the question is "where were you when you heard about 9/11?"

(Perhaps I should start a new thread on this, but time is running short for me at the moment).

Very moving. A reminder of how precious life really is.
