Can anyone teach me/send me to a place where I can learn to mod? Starting off with the easiest thing first... whatever that may be(hopefully minor creatures)

Check out Chosen of Mystra site and the forum Infinity Engine Modding. I found the n00b modding guide the easiest to understand for someone who's never looked at the engine code.

Damn, modding looks so freaken hard, even the easy ones... First off I'm a complete noob with computers, when they say a .txt file does that mean saving the stuff you wrote and naming it .txt or making a new folder? Bah screw it, I can't and never will be able to mod...

.txt Is the standard notepad-filetype. So, just right click, select new, and then select the notepad-thing. Sorry for not being exact about the name, but I'm using Finnish interface, and as such, can't be sure of the exact names.
Also, if you're using Word/Works, or any other program that is not notepad or similar, you can choose "save as", and select the filetype in the drop-down menu, the proper now being .txt.
