After installing the Atari patch2 and/or patch 3, my computer does not recognize the ToEE Play disc in the CD ROM drive - it tells me to "insert the play disc" - even when it was the play disc's autorun that started the game in the first place! Anyone have any advice? Atari doesn't seem too interested in helping me here...

Get the no-cd crack from [snip] there are 3, one for each Atari patch, but don't use the patch 1 version if you already have patch 2 as it un-corrects (is that even a word?) various bug fixes from the 2nd patch

[Illegal link removed. I appreciate that the intention was to help somebody who legally owned the game. However, given the clearly illegal nature of the link, this could have been done by PM instead. ] - Beren

Thanks - that did the trick. (Not that I would ever abuse the no-cd-crack illegally, of course.)
