I've justed started playing this game and I know I'm going to be here with a lot with questions.
I have the scrolls from the Temple but I don't know how to identify them. I can't find any help for that in the book or the Help section in the game itself.
    Thanks

You have to either cast identify on them, or pay for them to be identified at a store, same with every potion and other magical thing in the game you can't identify I'm afraid :( .

You can cast Read Magic (level 0 spell) on a scroll to identify it and it doesn't cost you anything. Won't work on anything else than scrolls.

Sorry, Chev. It works with potions also.

Actually, Read Magic is only supposed to apply to scrolls, but the Co8 patch added the "Read Potion" functionality. I don't feel the least bit guilty using this "tweak".
