    [IMG] As little as possible...

Seriously, I'm a student of Political Sciences and I'm writing my master's thesis on retrospective voting in Dutch national elections (1982-2002). When I'm not doing that I drive around in a taxi or I waste time on my computer...

[IMG] By now I've almost completed my legal practicum (called 'articling' in Canada) with a poverty law clinic.

I guess the most appropriate answer is what I'll be doing in the future. I've just received word from the University of British Columbia that I've been accepted for doctoral studies in law. And I'm also on the waiting list for Osgoode Hall, one of the big 3 in Canada. A huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders in that the 'if' question is now definitely answered. The only question now is 'where'?

The dream of course is to become a law professor.

Considering the state of my life around 99 or 2000, I can't help but feel so fortunate for the way things have turned out.

    [IMG] Congrats, Beren!

You imply things weren't so good 3-4 years ago. Whatever those difficulties were, I'm glad things have turned around for you. :)

@Beren: as they say, there's nothing that hard work and the love of a good (half-elven) woman can't pull you through...

    Two part time jobs.
First is a museum specialist/educator at a brand new children's museum in Temecula, CA.
My second job is usually one day a week as a historical reinactor/educator at a place that does programs that teach kids about life just at the begining of the Revolutionary War. Yes, I get to dress up like a Redcoat. The really fun part is during lunch we walk around and "demand taxes" in the form of potato chips and cookies from the kids!

Well, some of you might have noticed that I've been away from the boards for a few months. This is because of my work. I am a soldier, and at the moment par of the coalition forces in Iraq. At the moment I'm home on leave, which is a rather nice thing, as it means that I'm able to catch up on this site...

I'm an ethiopian sweatshop worker. I make thousands of identical socks every day, and I make approximately three dollars total a year.
