    Were people abusing the Avatars? I'm so use to pics and titles. It's hard to get a feel for people's personality without a picture. At least for me...

    I remember folks by the image more often than by the name.

    On this forum we do something rarely seen. We don't look at pretty pictures, We talk... And read the FAQ's as we are supposed to :1eye: :shake:

    A noob typically refers to anyone online who's unfamiliar/new with the environment/culture in which they find themselves.

    I would hazard a guess that it started out as newbie, referring to someone new, and was changed by the l337 into n00b.

    It typically has negative connotations.

    I'm perfectly happy with my little jewel as it is. That and I'm impatient, and only buy things at stores. Right now it's an Andar, but I hope to make it to Rogue Stone someday. (I made a post about that exact topic somewhere.)
