    [IMG] Ah, that's easy!

1.Create the character you want to be a merchant, let's call him Bob the Dwarf.

2.Right click on Bob, and go to his properties. Under 'Tag', name him BOB.

3.Click the 'Merchants', and make a new merchant. Call it BOB_STORE. Under Properties, you can change the merchant's inventory (the items he sells), and stuff.

4.Make a conversation for Bob, call it BOB_CONVO.
    It should look like this:

[BOB] Hello there! Want to see some items?
    |_ + Yes (see below)
    |_ + No

At the 'Yes' node, attach a script to the Actions Taken'. USe the Script Wizard button nearby to make a script.
Make it Perform Action, Start Merchant, and enter the tag BOB_STORE.

    That's it!
Now when you press 'yes' in conversation, the script will start, and BOB_STORE will be started.
Use BOB for whatever the NPC is called, it's easy that way.
Check your e-mails, there's a simple ERF made by me, you can add it to your mod.

    Hope I helped,
    Goph

ok lemme tell you in a simpler way:

    </font>
    • make a thing, like for instance jim
    • then right click on him
    • then go down to "set up store"
    • than configue it from there, choosing the type of store, or make your own
make sure you move jim AND the store WP thingy together so they dont get lost.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the last solution there is only available if you have the new patch, which wasn't available at time of my last post. ;)
    Mental Note: I need patch.

How do I make items cost "X"gp and not have all the other items go up in gp also?

[IMG] You mean assign a price to a specific item, without changing the price in the Store Properties?

When making the item, you can increase the cost of it, that simple. You can also set it to 'infinite number' of items if you wish.

Yea something like that. I'm not totaly sure what your talking about. I just want to sell a sheild for 5gp and a qutarstaff for 1gp. But when I mark up or down the prices they both go up acording to NWN. Is there a way to do each indvigualy?

[IMG] Right, to make just ONE item differently priced, the shield for example:

Go to to the item selection, and right click the Shield. Click Create Copy. On this copy, simply change the price, up.

Save it, and put it in your store, and viola! A more expensive shielf.
