    a damn shame. hrm, not to be callous, but it's a good thing I ended up not picking up Lord of the Silver Bow and opted to wait until the trilogy finished. also: are his Drenai and Rigante series concluded already?

    A real shame - he was one of the writers that got me into fantasy and he's always been one of my favourites. He'll be sorely missed. :(
