[IMG] I just finished reading this book.

    Are another trilogy is planned?

    I hope so.

    Any news on this?

It's the last book of the Hunter's Blades Trilogy by R.A. Salvatore.

    Very good book :)

Ah, I have not read anything of the Hunter's Blade. Have been waiting for paperback and am not even sure I will get that. Salvatore is not really a fav author.

Nothing more announced at this point, but you can be sure it'll be on SP at http://www.sorcerers.net/Books/index_fr.php once it is. It's just a matter of time, WoTC isn't going to give up on the drow, considering how well all drow novels sell.

The thousand Orcs and The Lone Drow are on paperback already. I'm still waiting on the Two Swords though. On a (quasi)-related note, is the WotSC novel AFTER Condemnation (the 3rd) out on paperback already? It's Extinction iirc.

    Read it.

In an interview R.A Salvatore said he is taking a break from Drizzt for a while to do a two novels series about Jarlaxle and Artemis.

Are they any good? Could someone (who doesn't work for a store trying to sell it ;) ) explain what they're about? Without spoilers please. :D

Just go to Amazon via the links on SP, you've got book descriptions there. And they're not biased, if that's what you're afraid of.

great book, just finished it yesterday.
@Christian, I believed there will have to be another trilogy with the way it ended. Salvatore usually ties up his loose ends at the end of a storyline. He did not in this one.

I would like to see some Jarlaxle and Artemis books. Two of my favorite characters

Seeing as Servant of the Shard far surpasses anything else Salvatore has written I found myself quite intruiged by the news that he would write two novels with those two as main characters.

I am just going to read that novel in a few days. I'm also looking forward to it for Jarlaxle is also my favorite character and it will indeed be plausible if there is a serie about him. But not entirely I hope, there must be some appearance of Mr. Do'Urden.

I've read the two previous novels in the Hunter's Blades trilogy and those were entertaining, so I'm looking forward to the conclusion. That's definitely good news to hear there will be more with Jarlaxle and Artemis! I hate to say it, but it'd be nice to see another show down between Drizzt and Artemis...or perhaps introduce another character who could rival those two as far as sword play goes.

    I haven't got it yet...

Well there better be a few more after the two swords... I've managed to read my way through all of the R A Salvatore Drizzt related books (21 but am waiting for the two swords, roll on monday).

Though I do have to agree, Artemis and Jarlaxle are amazing characters, and in my mind surpass Drizzt for shear readability...

Just finished the two swords , and I must say it felt like ive read it before.
Salvatore is repeating himself it somewhat. Against all ods it ends well. Same old.

...they are all alive and well. Although I have to say I am glad Obould and his army survived as well. It's the very first time a not so much fleshed out very evil character survives Drizzt's blades.
