where can I find these spells?

    Currently I'm in the underdark, in the drow lair and just after reading many people's threads, I realized that I'm missing some very powerful spells that I have yet to run into in the game. Can anyone tell me where I can buy/find the following scrolls?

    greater malison
    wizard eye
    lower resistance
    power word silence
    protection from magic energy
    mass invisibility
    sphere of chaos
    maze
    freedom

    also, if possible i would like to scribe all of these spells into my wizard book, but I believe (please correct me if i'm wrong) that if the spell icon is highlighted with a green symbol it's unwriteable into the wizard's book? are any of these spells unwriteable?

    The sellers above the 'Seven Vales' have Greater Malison spells, and the lady in the 'Travellers Mart' should have some of the others.

    I think that only protection from magical energy is 'green' and cannot be scribed.

    You can get Freedom in the Underdark, from the duergar merchants.

    Skeleton Warriors often drop scrolls of Protection from Magical Energy, Sphere of Chaos and, I think, Maze.

    wizard eye: in the chest with King Strohm's book in the windspear hills dungeon.

    lower resistance: in once of the chests near Sassar's buddies in the unseeing eye quest.

    protection from magic energy: on the table on the ground floor of Rayic Gethras's home.

    Apparently, you can get Greater Malison only by the Bookkeeeper in Athkatla or the priestess in Shark-City, if you're in the Underdark it's too late until you go back to Athkatla.
    Wizard Eye, Sphere of Chaos, Mass Invisibility: you don't miss much IMO.

    You should be able to scribe all those spells. You are correct in that green icon scrolls cannot be scribed, but none of those are the green icon type. The green scrolls are usually protection spells found in shops, like Protection from Fire, Cold, Undead, and Magic, or even Stone to Flesh (I think Cúchulainn confused this Prot from Magic with the Prot from Magical Energy)

    If it's not scribe-able, it's probably due to spell school opposition. So Edwin being a conjurer won't be able to scribe wizard eye (divination) for example.
