I'll read almost any book, but my faves are science fiction, fantasy, and techno-thrillers (Clancy-type).

[IMG] I enjoy lots of different types of books. But I think my favorite is hard core science fiction. No stupid Star Trek or Star Wars novels (though I enjoy both on the screen). I like well written stories with fresh idea by authors like Gibson and Stevenson. Some Fantasy is also good and I enjoy spy and war stories as well.

My favorite kinds of books are what somebody called
. I also like a lot of litterature, but my favorite goes for 18th century fantasy, from mostly England, France, Russia. But once in a while, I will settle for a good ol' fantasy novel. :)
I have read the Dragonlance series (the first three novels)
I'm presently in the middle of Lord Of The Rings : The Two Towers.

Mostly just sci-fi and fantasy, and anything by Steven King. Was a big Clancy fan in high school but the book he did about Clarke's past lost me, never have gotten back into his stuff. Guess my tastes just changed.
Also used to read all the sw books, till the bad writing and horrible attempts to recreate the movies made me stop. Surprisingly alot of the star trek books are real good (and 99% are better than any trek tv show made since ds9 went off the air :( )

ohhhhh and I LOVE to read mathematics books, love calculus, difeqs, combinatorics, graph theory and linear equations.

You mean that you like OTHER books than Dragonlance and Forgotten Realms? well LOTR is pretty good but there is no way I will ever read a non-Fantasy novel apart from if I have to for school or similar..lousy school, it sucks so much I hate (break off into incoherent mutterings)

Well, I love the Star Wars novels.... or rather, some of them. I am a NJO addict, I admit... Hell, if they managed to get me like Kyp Surron then they're definitely worth reading... :p

Besides those, I, too, enjoy spy/thriller novels, like Tom Clancy, Jack Higgind, Robert Ludlum and the like.

[IMG] Spy novels, sci-fi, terror, ANY book will do for me EXCEPT for shameless selfpromote, religious fanatics and humorous novels.
