this game looks insane! it is an rpg, the graphics are very, very good. Story line sounds pretty good. Also, the more you use one kind of fightint style(melee, magic, long range) your appearance will change, ie If you use magic you will get wierd runes and tatoo's all over you body.

It's not out yet. What I have heard of it makes it sound like it's going to be one of the best games around if they even manage half of what they claim the game will be able to do. Makes me wish I had an X-box, really.

[IMG] This game should completely rock. Formerly known as Project Ego, Fable will allow you to become more involved in a more interactive world than the likes of Morrowwind. It also allows you to age and start afamily and all kinds of weird stuff, plus it looks awesome. Look up the previews on Gamespy or something. I can't wait for it. Its been in development forever.

It's not out? They had a game called Fable (I'm assuming it's the same one) in a computer shop yesterday.

Fable... is a very strong argument for buying an X-Box.

Bow wow to Peter (can't spell his last name) and Lionshead studios.

[IMG] There's more good stuff to the x-box than Halo, although it really took a while to get there...

    Fable will rock, too.

Has anyone got a link to this Fable? I have to admit I'm getting kind of curious.

At long, long, long last i can say, "Wow, a game that actually looks like it's worth spending hard earned cash on." Fable does look very cool indeed. You age, keep scars gained in battle, can be Good or Evil (your appearance changes accordingly, just like in Black & White), and yeah, the developers of Black & white are involved in it too.
    David W, your link:

It's a really good way to introduce/tease a game to an audience. Enjoy.

    Thanks.

It certainly looks interesting. I'll have to add it to wish list.

Please god don't let it be another TOEE.

Gamespot has an article on Fable today that is free to read for now, pretty good information and they have tons of screens.

from what i've heard and seen this game is gonna rock, the grahpics and stroy looks great and the ability to create your own character in great detail is tantalising. you also have paths of good or evil to chose which will change the look of your character to look more good or evil - combat is also sounding good. I got all this from Egde magazine if ur wondorin :)

I'll wait until it comes to PC, read reviews, and decide then :hmm:

(The website was quite well done, though)

I'm wondering if it's coming to PC at all.

I've been seriously considering buying x-box, and if i still think the same way next week, i'm getting it.
No lack of good games for it, not to mention playing Fable as soon as it comes out.
    :)
