    Rather confusingly Thief 3 will actually be called Thief. The logic as far as I'm aware is that it will be the first of the series available on consoles, but Given Thief:tDP is commonly refered to as Thief, confusion will reign.

    and Cavedog for making Total Annihilation :D , although unfortunately they are no more.

    westwood studios fell from grace for every product since the original c&c.

    then of course, Sid Meier's (not sure of the company name), but civilization alone makes it a company of my faves ;)

    Best: Looking Glass for everything.
    Black Isle for Planescape only;yes BG&NWN are good, but not work of art, Bethesda and many others are worth mentioning, but there was(and for me still is) one best.

    Blizzard, definitely. StarCraft might be a bit bloody, but it IS really good. 3DO also, and Bioware for the Baldur's Gate series.

    What was that company that made Thief. It went under about 2 years later. I know Looking Glass published it, but unless i'm wrong and am thinking of Looking Glass...

    Whoever made the Hitman series.
    Electronic Arts for the Need For Speed series.
    Sierra for their many, many good games (inc BaK)
    Black Isle for BG 1, 2.
    Blizzard for Warcraft III and Diablo series.
