Hmm... Does it have to be an RPG? Well, you can try IWD1&2, Neverwinter Nights, Dungeon Siege, Morrowind, ... Try checking out your local store's bargains, or ask a friend for one of his games you like, or rent a game, lots of stuff you can do.

Try a Final Fantasy game... or just play Freelancer.
    Fallout I/II.
I heard good things about Arcanum too.

I have been playing Wizardy 8 lately. I love this game! It's kind of hardcore...i.e. a numbers intensive geekfest of gaming delight. And it is unforgiving as well. But, it's fun! Just be prepared for a challenge...

Wizardry is indeed very hardcore. I suggest you download a demo of it first. The graphics are also kinda terrible, but the hardcore fan doesn't care for that.

Nah man the graphics are ok for number 8. But i'm not into first person games much so it's all new to me. I think the last one I played was half-life and they are significantly better than that.

Oh dude...just a tip...don't make a rogue PC. Use another one for locks & traps like a ninja or bard.

Wizardry's an first-person rpg? Aww man, i don't like that so much. Everyone told me that Morrowind was SOO good and all, but when i played it I was a little dissapointed.... it's a good game but as i said, don't like first-person rpg's.

but that's okay, since I've borrowed freelancer from a friend and it kicks ass!! (even if it isn't an rpg) love the game :thumb:
    Thanks Oxymore

It's first person with a six man party, sorta like M&M 6 or 7.

I share your grief! I'm bored out of my skull thanks to the pathetically delayed Suikoden 3 release (From December 2002 to August 2003? :shame: ), the sheer amount of time Dynasty Warriors 4 is taking to be released in Europe and that the only PC title that has me interested in any way happens to be Thief 3...which isn't due out until December this year at the latest.....Of course it doesn't help that there has been a nasty lack of decent sequals recently, by the looks of it.
